About JCOA

Junior Chefs of America, Inc. is the leading non-profit culinary school bridging culinary classes with STEM educational lessons.

Founded in 2015, we have established a curriculum that teaches ages 4-18 how to embrace a passion for the hospitality industry through food.

It was President Benjamin Franklin who famously advised fire-threatened Philadelphians in 1736 that “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Which simply means It is better to stop something bad from happening than it is to deal with it after it has happened.

With the cost of living rapidly increasing, there are more and more families becoming impoverished. And we all know where there is a rise in poverty, there is a rise in crime.

At Junior Chefs of America, we help identify those who are at the highest risk of being affected and work to reduce the possibility of violence through teaching students self-sufficiency.

We collaborate with strategic community partnerships that align with our mission to intervene in the lives of our kids and youth to give them new tools and lessons to become great Chefs.

We offer 5 programs to help, even utilizing STEM lessons with our younger ages to stimulate their brains and make their learning experience fun! Our targeted intervention culinary programs teach our students how to Cook, Grow, Give Back & Be Empowered.

Since our inception we have helped hundreds of community kids and teens learn the importance of food sustainability. We strive to take our mission global through the establishment of JCOA Chapters.

Through our vision of growing chapters throughout the world, we can help show so many kids and teens the importance of learning the difference they can make in this world as a chef.

Join us in our efforts, help us make a difference. Together We can fight hunger and reduce poverty & crime. How? One Student, One Meal At-A-Time!
